The Oaks Gourmet Market was established in 2009. It is a simple, but ambitious plan. Serve high-quality, delicious food and beverages at a fair price. Sounds easy enough.
The first time I went here, it was on accident. “The Oaks Gourmet Market* is located in the place of an old liquor store that I used to go to from time to time. It is also next to one of my favorite sushi joints Taiyo. When I went in the first time, they told be about this great burger. At the time I was full, believe it or not. I said I would be back, and I was not lying.
The Dry Age Burger Half Pound of our Dry Age Blend with Taleggio cheese, Black Forest bacon, red onion, tomato, Arugula & our smoked jalapeño-pineapple compote on toasted_Brioche
This was a great burger. The produce was extremely fresh and crunchy. I liked that. It added an interesting texture to the burger. The smoked jalapeño-pineapple compote was so delicious combined with the Black Forest bacon. I don’t think I had ever had Black Forest bacon before.
There is nice outside seating if you choose to sit outside. I sat at the picnic table inside with some other patrons. I loved the burger there and would recommend trying it out. It’s a steal at $11.50

Eat W/ Reez: Homemade Mac n Cheese

I love my friends. One of my long time co-workers brought me some of his wife’s mac n cheese last night. I felt very special. It was delicious.
She put the directions right on the tinfoil Dummy proof.

The recipe was past down from generation to generation. I was not privied to that information. I respect that.
